Who we are
BlueNova Books is an Alberta bookkeeping company for owner-managed businesses. We work remotely with clients across Canada. The work is backed by six years in public accounting.
That experience includes work with owner-managed businesses in bookkeeping, financial reporting, account reconciliations, GST/HST and provincial sales taxes, year-end preparation, and CRA-related matters.
Having worked closely with businesses and their accountants, we understand the importance of keeping accurate, organized records throughout the year — not just when tax season arrives.
We bring that experience to every BlueNova client, with a focus on clear communication, reliable bookkeeping, and helping business owners better understand their numbers.
We are not a CPA firm, and we do not file corporate income tax returns or provide audit services. We do the bookkeeping that makes those conversations with your accountant cleaner.

How we work
Most of the work is remote. You tell us about the business, we review what you need, and we agree on a clear scope and price before anything starts. Books live in QuickBooks Online whenever that is the right fit. You keep your accountant. We make the file they receive something they can actually use.
